We’re Duane and Angela — Florida natives, Venice High grads, and the heart behind Walker Wright Pool Service LLC. This is our family and just a splash of our story!
This business wasn’t built overnight. Duane got his start in 2015 after the tragic passing of Nigel, the owner of H2O Pools. With the guidance of a mentor, Duane met with Nigel’s family, took over the customer book, and went door to door introducing himself. Out of 33 original clients, 28 signed on for weekly pool service — and many of them are still with us today. That foundation became Wright’s Pool Management & Services.
Angela entered the industry later by purchasing Walker’s Pool Service offering weekly pool care — originally built by one of the area’s first woman owned pool companies. Run for decades by a mother and subsequently her daughter, it became Angela’s when the daughter decided to pass the torch. The company had always focused on Modified Chem Service, and for a while, we kept our two businesses separate. But over time, combining them financially and operationally just made sense — and Walker Wright Pool Service LLC was born.
We’re proud to be a family owned and family run business in every sense of the word. Our kids have tagged along on pool routes since “bring your child to work day,” and now two of them, Nathan and Jaden, are part of the business. Nathan works with Duane while homeschooling and playing guitar. Jaden, Class of 2024 at Venice High, runs his own route while also working at Publix and helping at Walker's Hydroservices pressure washing.
We’re a blended family — his, hers, ours, and theirs that became ours. Foster care and adoption have shaped our family in powerful ways, and we’re grateful every day for the life we’ve built together. Whether it’s cleaning pools, raising kids, or heading out on a cross-country road trip, we do it all with commitment and heart.
Walker Wright isn’t just a name — it’s a legacy built on real relationships, honest work, and roots that run deep in this community. Proudly servicing pools in Osprey, Nokomis, Laurel, Venice, Englewood and North Port.
